Everybody is responsible for safeguarding children, regardless of your occupation, frequency of working with children, or how often you interact with their families. We all have a responsibility to keep children safe.

Safeguarding Children course provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to safeguard children. It describes the common types of abuse, how to recognise and respond to your concerns.

Safeguarding also explains how to correctly report your concerns.

This course uses a variety of written text, interactive activities, and real-life case studies to help you understand your responsibilities.

Who should take this course?

Anyone who intend to work or works with children and/or their families irrespective of frequency is required to have knowledge of how to safeguard children.

This training course is suitable for anyone who fits these criteria and is required to take training as part of their role.

This course is written at an introductory level, no previous knowledge is required.

It is suitable for workers at all levels, including managers, supervisors, full-time/part-time staff and volunteers.

Examples of people who may wish to take this training include:

Teachers, Nursery workers, Teaching assistants, Carers, and Childminders.

Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, and Health workers.

Social workers, Council staff, and Immigration workers.

Youth workers, Activity leaders, and Volunteers.

Sports coaches, Church leaders, religious leaders, and Volunteers.
